The HSI Wilderness First Aid Course is a 16-20 hour class that covers detailed patient assessment, treatment of injuries, illness, and environmental emergencies when outdoors and/or advance medical help is hours away.
This is a hybrid course. Lecture, video, slides, and discussion will be held remotely over multiple sessions. In-person hands-on skills sessions will be scheduled either 1 8-hour session or 2 4-hour sessions. The in-person session will be held outdoors. In the case of inclement weather or cold temperatures the in-person session may be held indoors.
Course charge includes a course textbook which is mailed to each participant.
