Earlier this summer I posted that I would have a reduced class schedule this past summer. I usually cut back a bit to spend time with my family over the summer. I reduced it even further because I was driving weekly to visit my mom.
I posted back in June that my mom took ill suddenly. It was cancer. It was terminal.
We’ve been driving out of state weekly to visit. She seemed to rally, but over the past week she became worse, and passed away a few days ago.
It’s been an emotional summer. It’s been a physically exhausting summer as all the driving was taking it’s toll. It’s also been a struggle with time management as we would drive almost 5 hours each trip, plus time spent having a quality visit. Time I might be teaching, working on my business, or just sitting on the beach with my kids.
So October is not scheduled yet. Hopefully over the next week.
