Sometimes when taking an online AHA Heartsaver course the course will not indicate as completed when the instructor checks on the participants progress, when in fact the course has been completed. This is most commonly due to just closing the browser window when finishing the course. I’ve emailed the AHA help desk several times about this, and the problem lies in that we log in on one website, but the course is hosted on a different site.
Here are the directions to follow if you receive an email asking you to login to exit the course to mark it as completed.
First, if the students are still within the actual course modules, they will click “Exit Exercise”
*Notice, on the left side of this page below is where the student can “Download Completion Certificate”* Now, the student will click the “X” in the top right of the pop out
When the pop-out is closed, it will tell the student “Course status is updated successfully.” They will want to, once again, click “Exit Exercise”
This should hopefully update the course as completed.
