We offer CPR AED, First Aid, First Aid CPR AED, and Pediatric First Aid CPR AED courses through the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), Health and Safety Institute (HSI), Emergency Care and Safety Institute (ECSI). There are several course options. Certification cards are valid for 2 years.

CPR AED courses cover Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED, using barrier devices, and how to relieve choking.

First Aid courses cover basic First Aid principles, medical and environmental emergencies and treating injuries.

First Aid CPR AED courses cover Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED, using barrier devices, and how to relieve choking as well as basic First Aid principles, medical and environmental emergencies, and treatment of injuries. 

Pediatric First Aid CPR AED courses cover Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED, using barrier devices, and how to relieve choking as well as basic First Aid principles, medical and environmental emergencies, and treatment of injuries focusing using these skills on young children.

CPR for New & Expecting Parents classes cover Child/Infant CPR AED, using barrier devices, and how to relieve choking. This course focuses on the needs of new parents, grandparents, and babysitters and does not earn a certification card.

Wilderness First Aid courses cover how to respond and treat emergencies and accidents in remote settings or when advanced help is hours or more away. These courses expand on the knowledge and skills covered in First Aid CPR AED and include treatment/evacuation decisions, patient assessment, emergency moves, splinting, bandaging and more. We offer the 8-hour basic course, 16-hour intermediate course, and the 32-hour comprehensive course.

In Person courses are taught and attended in a classroom setting. All material is presented and practiced in the classroom and participants are expected to demonstrate skills learned in the class. Classroom courses include AHA Heartsaver Courses, ARC First Aid/CPR/AED, ARC First Aid/CPR/AED Review, ARC First Aid/CPR/AED Challenge, and HSI First Aid CPR AED, HSI First Aid CPR AED Review, and HSI First Aid CPR AED Challenge classes.

Blended Courses are a combination of an online learning course and a shorter classroom skill session. Courses are divided into two or three parts; part one is the online course and parts two and three cover hands-on skills practice and skills testing. Skills verification can be done in a classroom setting, remote group verification, or 1:1 remote verification. Blended courses include AHA Heartsaver, ARC First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning, and HSI First Aid CPR AED blended learning.
